Dorothea’s Dishes: Cinnamon Applesauce!

Hello everyone!

I am so excited to another one of Dorothea’s Dishes with you all! To go along with our current Autumnal theme since apples are beginning to come into season, I thought it might be fun to share my grandmother’s cinnamon applesauce recipe! I have such fond memories of this recipe from my childhood– she often make this dish keep extra quarts in her freezer for whenever I would come to visit. I must admit I became so spoiled by this recipe, any other store-bought applesauce just doesn’t compare!

Here is the recipe:

I hope you enjoy this recipe! If you make it, please be sure to tag me on Instagram, my handle is @thegingerintrovert! Also use the hashtag #Dorothea’sDishes, so everyone else can see it, too!

Happy autumn!

In Cahoots! Episode 2 Show Notes

Hello everyone!

The second episode of the In Cahoots! with @thegingerintrovert is now live! Today I’m talking about the new music I’ve been listening to and loving, including Aly & AJ, Clairo, Lana Del Rey, and new Charlie’s Angels collab with Lana, Ariana Grande, and Miley Cyrus.

However, my main topic of discussion is Taylor Swift’s new album, Lover, which made me fall in love with her music all over again. I review the album track-by-track, and share all of my thoughts about this amazing album!

Click here to see the Teen Vogue article I talk about.

As always, I made a playlist for this episode with all of my favorite songs from the artists I discuss in this episode.

You can listen to the episode HERE on Anchor, as well as on Spotify!

What music have you been loving lately? Let us know in the comments below, or over on my Instagram, my handle is @thegingerintrovert!

Autumn Reading List!

Hello everyone!

Now that we’re solidly in the middle of September, let the Autumn content begin! I thought today was a good day to start, since it is both Friday the 13th and a Full Harvest Moon!

Admittedly, I have been in the Fall-mindset since the stroke of midnight on September 1st, but I know there are many of you out there who are mourning Summer and are having a little bit of a hard time flicking that seasonal switch. If this applies to you, I think I can help you get into the Fall spirit…

I have put together a little reading list of all the books I could think of that make me feel all the Fall vibes when I read them. Because what is more quintessentially Autumn than being wrapped in a cozy blanket and reading an equally cozy or spooky book?

An additional a fun fact for you! The image used above was a photograph from Unsplash by Annie Spratt, and it was taken in the library of Wells Cathedral. I visited this library back in May during my two week England trip! I have so many amazing photos and stories of my own to share, and I will have to do a post (or a series) dedicated to this amazing adventure in English literature I took. Tune in soon!

If you have any more books you would like to add to the list, leave your recommendations here in the comments, or head on over to my Instagram (@thegingerintrovert) and join in the conversation!
