When I Want Sunshine (A Playlist!)

If you’re in need of some new tunes to brighten up your day, I share my favorite uplifting playlist here!

Sunshine on a field of wheat, with a mountain in the horizon.

Hello everyone!

Music has a place of prominence in my life. Something that I know about myself is that different kinds of music affect my mood. This playlist contains a lot of my favorite songs I listen to when I’m either extremely happy, or I need a pick me up. And then I realized that a couple of my favorites talked about sunshine. Now that can’t be a coincidence. So, I found some other “sunshine” songs, and I compiled it into one big happy playlist. So, I thought I would share my secret sunshine playlist with you!

The playlist is on Spotify, and my username is writerchic in case the embedded link doesn’t cooperate!

Since spring is well on its way, I thought this would be a fun post to help get us all in a spring-time mood! I hope this playlist made you happy. Let me know in the comments if you have any favorite spring-y or sunny songs you would like to share! I would love to hear them 🙂

XOXO

  1. When you were a little girl and lived in Oxford, I was blessed to have days to be with you. I’m not sure how much you remember because you were so young. One of the things we would do on our “Grand mom/Grand daughter” days together would go for a walk. I would put you in your coach and we would walk and sing. You were “singing” even then. One of the songs we would “sing” as we walked was ….. Your are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray, you’ll never know dear how much I love you, please don’t take my sunshine away. So see you were then and are now my sunshine. Love you baby girl.
